Big Brother Africa 2 Winner Joins the World Wide Web

Richard Bezuidenhout lanches his personal website on 1st February 2008.

The Tanzanian winner of Big Brother Africa 2, officially launched his website on 1st February 2008. This website is sponsored by Kilimanjaro Premium Lager. Richard started the website due to requests from fans who wanted to be informed about what he has been doing since Big Brother Africa 2 ended on November 11, 2007. He states, " I wanted to let the public know more about me, my achievements and future plans. My fans have made me who I am today, the winner of BBA2, so the least I can do is open a website to continue to share my life with them"

the website, www.richardbba2winner.com has already been well received by the online community; after only 48 hours online, the website has received 2,148 visitors. Upon entering the site, visitors are greeted by a bright green and gold homepage and Richard's official logo. There are several pages to explore within the site. The key sections of the website include:
- About me- Richard's biography with photos and descriptions of different stages of his life.
-Events- The most important section of the site because it features articles and photos about Richard's achievements and brief descriptions upcoming events.
-Contacts- Includes email addresses for general inquiries, business interests and fans
-Marchandise- Will eventually features items for sale, including Richard's personal clothing line.
- Guestbook- An area where visitor to the site can leave comments to Richard
-Videos- In the future the page will feature video clips shot by Richard
-Chat- A chat room for fans and friends of Richard. Richard will be online periodically to answer questions directly to his fans.
-Blog- Stories and pictures of personal interest to Richard. Fans are also welcome to email Richard with articles they would like to see posted here.

In addition to the above sections, the website also includes space for corporate wishing to advertise their products and services in the form of banners or logos.
